A word from the festival director
Dear readers, dear readers,
The curtains of the second edition of the ZIMIX Festival closed on Sunday 26 June, putting Afro music once again at the heart of the festival. For me, the The great success of this edition confirms the need to have a festival in Switzerland that promotes Afro music in the same way as Jazz, Electro and Pop music.
First of all, I would like to say a big thank you to partners who believe more and more in this project, in the médias who played an important role in supporting the promotion of this edition, at the public that we have yet to conquer and at all costs. organisational staff for their unfailing commitment.
For its third edition, the ZIMIX Festival is once again putting Africa at the heart of its event. This year, World music, Afrobeat and Afropop will set the tone for this evening of musical richness and mix of influences that will get the Geneva Arena grooving.
One of the aims of this festival is to promoteworld music, cultural diversityand to discover or (re)discover newstyles and genres of music unheard of in Switzerland.
