A total success beyond expectations!
Lausanne, 27 June 2022 – After a first edition in 2021 in Renens, the ZIMIX Festival has struck hard to make the voice of urban African music heard by as many people as possible. Before the Congolese headliner Fally Ipupa, the Salle Métropole welcomed Diamond Platnumz, the Tanzanian king of bongo flava, on stage.

Dear readers, dear readers,
The curtains of the second edition closed on Sunday 26 June, once again putting Afro music at the heart of the festival. This year, it is the two big stars Fally Ipupa and Diamond Platnumz, including our local artists Karter, Marcus Lyon and Idilsa Tavares who brought the Olympic capital Lausanne to its feet.
For me, the great success of this edition confirms the need to have a Festival that meets several expectations, such as having a scene in Switzerland that carries Afro music as high as Jazz and Pop music.
First of all, I would like to say a big thank you to the media who played a great role in supporting the promotion of this edition and to the public who were present and whom we won over again.
The organisation of such an event would not be possible without many supporters. Iwould like to thank all the people, institutions, companies and partners for their contribution and trust. As well as the MKC EVENTS team who essentially contributed to the success of this second edition of the ZIMIX Festival.
